My Astrology

Ever since I can remember I was into astrology; however, I didn’t start studying it with great interest (i.e. buy a book and practice on friends, family, and co-workers) until the early 1990’s.  Then during the brief appearance of Uranus Aries in the Summer of May/June 2010 an opposition was created with my Natal Uranus Libra. Also Urania activated my 11th house conjuncting my natal Urania in Sagittarius. Interesting to note, my natal Urania is an exact conjunction to my learning partner’s (at the time) Uranus.  And then shortly after this meeting — a big bang happened! This is when I began extensive astrology studies for the first time. As for horary charts, I first began dabbling in them in early 2012 and then very seriously ever since December 2013. In both cases, it was related to relationship crises.

House System

I currently work with Placidus for natal charts, and personal transits.  I also use whole signs for personal transits and natal empowerment.

Aspects

I work with a range of aspects beyond the so-called major and minor aspects (by the way, nothing is minor — my Virgo stellium says. ;-).  I work with harmonic aspects such as septiles, noviles, deciles, quintiles, etc. for those who want to dig deep into their destiny, find self-improvement opportunities, and want to have as full of a life as possible. I also believe that semi- doesn’t necessarily mean ‘less’.  I believe it means ‘half’.  So a semi-square means that the native experiences the square themes ‘half’ the time but it’s no less of an experience than a full square when it’s activated.

Back to how my DAILY obsession with astrology started…

Urania was Sextile Uranus with a 0° orb when this blog was born.  On the day that Urania Rx had an exact conjunction to my natal Urania, I wrote this to a friend without knowing anything about transits at the time:

Why wouldn’t you want to explore that?  I mean Uranus-like exploration, no Saturn convention. (It’s interesting that I wrote this BEFORE reading your email about Saturn problems.. haha and before I noticed Uranus Scorpio in the 7th house.)

[And then I wrote this later on in the email…] I’m drawing a Star card of hope, inspiration, talent, and connection to the universal mind.

Spooky, huh?  The Star tarot card is attributed to Aquarius (ruled by Uranus) and I also attribute this card to Urania. Oh, and even spookier — I just finished working on this card tonight.  Check out my tarot card post for The Star card.

I also ruminated about spiritual love, spiritual friendship, past life connections, past loves — again, without making any connection to the Uranus Opposition which can bring in old flames, along with new and exciting friends:

This time, I don’t have the same feelings I did for him last time because I got over it and that will probably make him more comfortable but HE is now ready to “face” his feelings.  I guess that’s fine, to a degree.  But I’m less sympathetic now to it.  I’m much more “intellectual” about the connection and the astrology and more “emotionally removed”.

I wish I knew “why” this stuff happens.  These “strange” connections happening.  Why are they so natural yet unnatural?

I told him [my other friend] that we are perhaps the “first wave” of people having “Aquarian – Pisces” spiritual friendships with people…

Over this past year and a bit, I can say without a doubt that I’m but a puppet but one that is thinking, and feeling and who can either heed the warnings of the planets, take the quest, and do as they request or pretend this really isn’t happening.

Of course, during the mid-life Uranus opposition, many times your past comes back to put closure on things or carry-out what never was.  While these strange meetings can seem natural, they are a bit unnatural too — almost forced.  And that’s what I was feeling.  I feel blessed to have a taste of what is to come next year during my full blown opposition.

Without getting into another blog post on a page, I’ll say that it’s important to ride the electrical wave (Uranus Opposition Uranus transit) without making any changes that hurt anyone else, because ultimately they’ll probably hurt you too.

My Upcoming Personal Transits

Neptune moves into Pisces on February 4th, 2012 where it will conjunct Chiron.  This happens during the Sun of Aquarius.  My natal North Node will touched by Neptune and Chiron as it’s 2°.  And around this time, the Sun & Mercury will also make a conjunction to my North Node while Jupiter will sextile it. And on March 6, 2012 transiting North Node will make an exact conjunction to my natal Urania in the 11th house while Uranus trines it.

My future is ahead of me!
